We at Second Chance want to Thank You for your generous donation to the women and children at our Shelter. 

When families and relationships are broken its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  You feel lost and confused, you have so many questions and problems to figure out.  Your often in a new place with no friends, family, or resources.  You and your children are completely at the mercy of strangers.

Thanks to you, our guest can feel comfort in times of uncertainty.  Children’s eyes light up when we are able to give them a warm pair of pajamas, a stuff animal, a new toothbrush, a sippy cup or pacifier.  Often theses items had to be left behind.   Moms express relief upon discovering we have sanitary items, diapers, wipes, and milk.  Your kindness and support, leaves a lasting impression on these families.  Many of whom felt the whole world no longer cared for them. 

We cannot do this without your support.  We can provide a roof over their heads and a safe bed but, it is you the everyday citizen, the good person with a heart for women and children, that provide comfort in times of uncertainty.  We cannot thank you enough for keeping us in your heart and mind, nor can we express how much your donations mean to these broken families but we want you to know that you are deeply appreciated.
